Alaska in September...the land turned golden

We arrived at our destination of Quartz Creek

We set out on the river to do some fishing....

Looking for dolly's and rainbows all we saw were reds

And reds...

And reds...

Carefully avoiding the salmon, we crosssed the river...

And cast our lines in what holding pools we could find

The day on the river was enhanced by our spectacular view

Mike continued to cast, but.....

Wayne ended up Champion....

...and Mike was empty-handed!

But no one lost on a beautiful day like this!
